Rescue Squad Tower
Hudgins, Virginia (2022 thru 2024)
We are thrilled to announce a significant advancement in the connectivity infrastructure of our beloved Mathews County. In response to the growing demand for high-speed internet access and improved network coverage, we are embarking on an exciting new project that will benefit our community for years to come.
The upcoming construction of a state-of-the-art WiFi tower is designed to provide Mathews County with faster, more reliable internet connectivity. This tower, standing at 111 feet, will significantly enhance the capacity and reach of our network, bringing advanced connectivity to residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
Construction began in mid-2022, and we anticipate completion by early 2024. We have carefully planned each phase of the project to ensure minimal disruption to the community during the process.
This project will bring numerous benefits to our community, including:
• Expanded network coverage, eliminating dead zones.
• Improved access to online education, remote work, and telemedicine.
• Enhanced economic development opportunities for local businesses.
• Strengthened connectivity for emergency services, ensuring public safety.
The safety of our community is of utmost importance. Rigorous safety measures will be in place throughout construction and afterward to ensure the protection of the tower and its surroundings. We understand the importance of environmental stewardship. Our construction plan includes measures to minimize potential environmental impact and leave a minimal footprint.
